INFORMATION SECURITY

Protect yourself from online threats! -- Visit eAcademy (https://tulane.onthehub.com) and download both a free licensed copy of Trend Micro Anti-Virus and the OpenDNS roaming client for password phishing protection. These applications will help protect your computer and the University network.

Don’t fall for phishing emails! -- Before clicking on a link in a message, please forward any suspicious emails or requests to security@tulane.edu or help@tulane.edu for verification. Tulane University will never ask you for your password in an email. Allowing your password to get into the hands of a scammer results in thousands of phishing messages distributed throughout the Tulane email system. If you are ever unsure of a message contact the Technical Support and Network Operations Center at (504)988-8888 or help@tulane.edu or security@tulane.edu. Our staff are standing ready to address any questions or concerns. It is better to ask first than to click on an unsafe link.
